hello! winter break is upon us. we're happy happy children.
friday was the last final. i just had to turn the two papers in, and play improv games for two hours in my last day of thea113. there were donuts. i embarked on a bus journey that ended in failure (as always) and then came cam's mom to the rescue! we went to narbonne and realised their weird schedule caused lots of people to already be gone. we gathered at the little house (we being an impressively large group of me,
jedijournal,
house_of_wax,
redorangelegend,
kungfufelon, and
jbird581), picked up some movies at blockbuster, and watched the clowns-and-chicken-licious house of 1000 corpses.
last night dylan and i went to the chain reaction winter formal (did i see any of you there unwittingly?) and it was a wonderful show, except really for headliners melée, by whom i was underwhelmed.
hellogoodbye opened, but they should have played a longer set. i would have liked more songs from them, and also their phone numbers.
dios had a great sound, but their show was a little on the exanimate side so it was hard to get into. on the bright side, i was blown away by
jupiter sunrise's set. i even got mark's phone number, but i hear he gives it away real easy.
afterward, we went to denny's with mike and crüe, and there were laughs all around. it was good to see some faces i hadn't seen since, like, mid-summer (if even then). D.A.V.I.D. called me a goddess, and that's never bad news.
all in all, an impressive beginning to a winter break.
