I managed to avoid the burn but I did have a really warm red mark on my back for like an hour afterward. Wait, maybe that counts as a burn.

because of icy hot's lovely numbing powers, you may not realize how hot your heating pad has become, also, I am pretty sure you are not supposed to plug any heating devices in at work. also, i implore you to go to a doctor before this gets worse, this has had the potential to exaggerate for ages now, and this is your fair warning before you are immobile again.

Literally days before this happened (again) I was thinking to myself, "My back hasn't hurt in a long time. I'm probably due for another outage soon. Maybe I should finally go to the doctor? Nah, I don't think it was even that bad."

And then I remembered how little I can do without a back and how dumb I am for thinking I didn't have to do any of the stuff I was told to do to keep this from happening again. Doctor, here I come.

I am in love with your writing. It's so inspirational [as I've read some of the older posts]. You have such an honest writing style, which is hard to come by now-a-days. And I was wondering if it'd be alright to friend you? :] I'm sorry if this is random, but I'd really like to continue reading your future posts.

Wow, thank you. My writing as of the past few months has been pretty disappointing and insincere, but I'll still welcome you as my friend.

o___o Now I remember you! Back when you had... a Deadjournal, was it? Do you still have that enticing journal, by chance?

Is there really such a thing as intrinsic motivation towards anything past basic survival (if that even)? If one was disconnected from society, or people, or the ideas and ideals placed around him, would he try to make his life lavish, or just get by ?
