Due to 40-60 mph winds here in good old VA, my dorm was without power for about 8 hours today and this evening. Granted, we're the only dorm with generators since we're technically in the same building as our dining hall, but around hour 6.5 even the generators went out. They're back on, but it sure did suck. I love the fact that I've been home since Wednesday, and many people are getting home tomorrow. I shouldn't gloat, but I am.
I'm also feeling quite crappy today. My stomach has been hurting all day, and has made me want to go right back to bed.
I'm bored, so I'm stealing that survey everyone's stealing from everyone else.

It took me 10 hours and 10 minutes, with five rest-stop/gas breaks, to get home from Sweet Briar.
I left my ring on the counter in a West Virginian bathroom, and it snowed just a little bit on my way through some high-altitude Pennsylvania.
And now that I'm home, I don't know what to do with myself.

The girl who lives in the room next to mine, while at a costume party last night, got sliced in the shin with a sword by a guy dressed as a Roman soldier, who didn't think it authentic enough to have (and swing around drunkenly) a plastic sword in a huge group of people.
