I was in NYC several weeks ago and saw an orchestra perform Johnny Greenwood's score in this fantastic church. Truly amazing. My gripe about the film is that the acting almost overshadowed the story for me. It was also just very dark which I can be into but other movies moved me more this year.
No Country For Old Men didn't affect me the way it did others and I think part of that is that I'm used to the Texas landscape. Also, I just kept waiting for someone to die from the very first scene and I think that's a cop out. If that's what I'm supposed to feel, then so be it, but one could expect that from the Saw movies and other pieces of trash as well.
