Do you know what's extremely frustrating? Witnessing people who are presented with the opportunity to learn from their erstwhile mistakes pass on the contingency to better themselves and their current situation, and just end up getting burned in the end. Again.

The sad part about it is that it's all their own damn fault, too.

I've come to the conclusion that I need a job. My sister's old boss bought "The Little Cafe" on Michigan Avenue next to what used to be LP (moment of silence in remembrance, please...), and Katie said that he'd be willing to give me a job if and when I choose to apply. I just spent slightly over $20 on about $65 worth of books at Borders [dot] com. I'm feeling quite accomplished.
