So I finally broke down and watched Avatar last night, because lots of people told me it was pretty and this dude I've been seeing wanted to watch it. That's the part that bothered you? Not, well, everything else? Except the visuals?

How about that those creatures couldn't all have evolved on the same planet, due to different characteristics? Or that the lead character's avatar had four fingers, but the rest of the blue creatures had three?

Just saying.

Yeah, the total ridiculousness of everything except the humanoids having weird chest nostrils and 6 legs did get to me. Maybe the lead character had 4 fingers because of his human DNA? I dunno, this is the part of the movie I tried not to think about, along with the whole white man's burden part.
