Hey Paige, it's Emily (Wunder). I learned something really cool about Allen Ginsberg and figured that, as you're a fan, you might be interested. My half-sister Jen is a Buddhist. The... um, monk? at the... place? she goes to is a widely renowned (and rather old) man named Rimpoche. He knew Allen Ginsberg and was close friends with him. Rimpoche believed that Allen Ginsberg was very, very close to becoming enlightened. Cool, huh?
I know less about Buddhism than I should, but the name Rimpoche is ridiculously familiar, though I can't place it. I wonder if Ginsberg mentioned him somewhere in his writings, or if it's just a common name. Hm.
