Our PMI was approved, and now we're just waiting on the underwriters' final approval, then we have the clear to close. They think we will be closing Thurs or Fri.

What a frustrating day. We were supposed to find out our closing date today. Kris got an email from the mortgage lady saying that there was a problem with him getting approved for PMI which we have to carry. They said they were going to try to remove some of the inquiries from his credit to see if that helped. They hard checked his credit ( Read more... ) -

Can't sleep. Too much on my mind. Right now mostly Maddie starting kindergarten next week. I'm feeling so anxious. I'm excited for her & nervous for her at the same time (trying to only show her the excited half though). Waiting for our official closing date is killllllllling me. They keep saying they are shooting for next week (we've been hoping for next Tues), and they said the other day they should know by this Wed. I just want to know! I just finished Week 5, Day 3 of my C25K. This was the scary intimidating one. 20 min of running without stopping. I'm not going to lie, I felt like I was going to quit a few times during it, and I'm still surprised I didn't. Ugh today was one of those just should have stayed home days. We went to the festival in Wyandotte. The rides were too expensive, all the games the girls said they'd play they ended up getting shy & whiny & wouldn't play. These long show weekends are rough on me. I am already beyond exhausted, and Day 2 is just starting. I want to be done. Both shows going pretty well so far though, hopefully they'll both end up being worth it.

Finally called & left a voicemail for the Wyandotte Board of Ed, and I scheduled the girls' physicals. Better late than never. As far as we know, we are closing on the house in early Sept, but we don't know a date yet. That is going to be quite a stressful busy month. I felt a lot better tonight after doing my run. Sometimes it's hard to make myself do it when I just want to be lazy. And I was worried that it would be pretty hard for me (first day of week 4), but it wasn't that bad. I think I was better at pacing myself than I have other times.
