Today I was filling out an application for a scholarship and they asked the question, "Please describe how and when any family or personal curcumstances have affected your achievement or your participation in school or community activities". How am I supposed to answer that? I know what has distracted me, but my distractions are very personal, and I doubt the scholarship committee really wants to know all of the details. Ultimately I'm at a loss for what to put. My distractions, as yours, are very real. Yet they remain silent.
