ok so i totally don't know anyone that you are talking about, but from reading what you have just written, this is the impression i get.
megan (the ex, i hope thats right) sounds like she maybe still has feelings for sarah, or maybe she is just jealous, that she is happy or she is with you, or even that she is happy without her in her life. so it sounds like megan is trying to badmouth you to sarah, either hoping, that she will crawl back to her, or come back to her seeking comfort.
i totally dont know these people, so you can just take this with a grain of salt if you want to.
