My first semester of graduate school is complete. I did pretty well.
A friend of mine had her baby ten days ago. A little girl named Fabienne. I think that is such a cute name. It get me to thinking about having babies. Like in ten years. They're cute though.
I have to interview an individual for an academic paper. The professor never really specified that we must meet this person. So, I'm interviewing a director at UNESCO! I'm so hyped. I love the fact that she agreed!
I've been awake since 7:55a.m. Wednesday morning. I've been on campus since approximately 4:00pm Wednesday afternoon. I have to be out by 4:00p.m. today because: a) my car will be towed, b) I will go crazy, c) I can't stand the lab or library any longer.
56 hours of work 8 hours in the dungeon that is archival joy 4 mistakes on my first quiz for which half of the necessary chapters were read 3 graduate classes 2 hours spent watching TV: Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy 0 hours spent studying
Too late Winnie. I'm way over my head. The things that I will do for professional growth and advancement include losing my mind.
On a brighter note, I'm off to the archives at the college tomorrow to meet my new supervisor and hang out. Hence, another obstacle preventing me from studying.
I ran into my class late today. This commuting thing is not working out for me. The traffic around this campus gets hectic. There's police directing cars. I almost got hit twice. I live three miles away
