As most of you know, I will be leaving on a jet plane to the sunny shores of Californ-iy-ay.  And as most of you know also, the flight from the UK to the US west saaaaaiiide is pretty arduous and long.  I fly to NY, break for 2 hours, then off to LA.  Bout 6/7 hours each flight.  We leave Liverpool at 6am, arrive in Manchester 7am, check in 3 hours ( Read more... )

I wish I could swim.  I mean, I used to be able to - not strongly, but enough.  I just sorta sink now.  I cant get the hang of the leg situation when doing the breast stroke.  It quickly transforms into the doggy paddle.  I guess if it was a life or death situation, I could swim and float.  I would back stroke my way to safety as I can swim on my ( Read more... )

Ah, I feel so much better.  Last night, Dawn and Andy ( vikingcrown  ) came over and we sat down to get some LA stuff sorted out, once and for all.  We booked tickets for Medieval Times and Universal Studios through Expedia (with whom we booked our flight/hotel/insurance/transfers).
