Wow, gorgeous story with an incredibly strong concept. I loved the little details about Charles' everyday life and the pleasure he takes in slipping into Erik's mind as the latter sleeps. Lovely, just lovely.

This is really great and the ending is really powerful. This line though, "Erik’s exhaustion was almost a physical presence, weighing heavy in the back of Charles’ mind." really got to me. It was just such a beautiful thought, the two of them being connected like that. A lot of power for so few words - great work. : D
