I used to be a hardcore sleep addict, but in my late twenties I found myself with more to do than the hours I was awake let me do. I started to wean myself, slowly. I'm down to existing comfortably on 5 - 6 hours.
Have you ever tried melatonin? It works like a charm. I try to avoid just because I can't wake up at 5:30 to work out. I pretty much subsist on a minimum of sleep.

I must have swallowed a half a bottle of cough medicine. You know that can't be good for me. But this gal LIKES to sleep.
