to make a long story short, my cat got hurt a few weeks ago (before i adopted him) and now needs to have medicine (ointment) applied to his leg every night.

and apparently he likes the taste of the medicine a lot, because--without-fail--he attempts to lick it off every night. so he has to wear this:
