I finally got the chance to upload photos because my brother went out niahahaha.
Hoshino Coffee at Plaza Sing always had long queues during weekday evenings and weekends hence we decided to go on a weekday afternoon heh heh. The place was rather filled but at least we didn't have to queue to get in. I sort of like the food here! They are reasonably priced and THEY LOOK VERY PRETTY. I had the fluffy puffy fuwa fuwa and my friend ordered the souffle with ice cream. Another friend ordered a curry dish which I didn't manage to get a photo of. My fuwa fuwa was YUMMY. It is essentially like yummy moist rice wrapped in a fluffy bread. I loved it!
This was a random Sunday shopping day at Chinatown with my family. Uh huh.
Finally met up with Chervel for dinner! We met up at Seoul Yummy in Bugis+. I had the saba fish set and Chervel had chap chye. The two mains were rather okay and delicious! However the other side dish that we ordered, the fried chicken wings, was totally not delicious.
It was nice to have Korean food while listening to her internship stories :> I started to wonder if I would have nice colleagues like hers when I start work hmmm. Jiayou for your final sem ah vel! I'm confident that you can reach the target that you want with all the effort! (:
Visited the Prive Cafe at Marina@Kappel Bay. It was a 10 mins walk from Harbourfront MRT. The cafe has a classy feel to it and you can see many tai tais chilling during the afternoon. (dream life omg) It's food is good and the prices are rather reasonable considering the good atmosphere in which we had our food in. We could see lots of yachts from where we were sitting! We ordered an oven baked pizza (abit too oily but still very delicious especially if you have it when it's warm), big breakfast and the poached eggs set (abit overcooked).
(i almost forgot how blue the sky looked because of the haze)
Finally, happy graduation ATQ! Sorry I wasn't able to attend your graduation because I was overseas :< Hopefully you liked our present for you woohoo!!! To celebrate ATQ's graduation, we met at the Fabulous Bakerboy. It's located opposite Liang Court, at the foot of Fort Canning Park. Alot of the customers were seated on the outside because they only had two seats indoors. I suggest they remove the chairs with no backrest because it was too uncomfortable for people who intend to spend their entire afternoon at the cafe. We ordered their big breakfast (which was extremely delicious), choc pancakes, green tea cake (I had high expectations since it was fabulous BAKERboy but the cake was really just so so. Or it could be that we chose a cake that was less popular, idk) and FAB ICE TEA. I hated the fab ice tea. It was so bland and the aftertaste was similar to the Hacks sweet we always take when we have sore throats. It needs to be sweeter omg.
Hello Jolene!!! This is my fav council mate. I have to admit that the JC period wasn't exactly my happiest days because my studies became a huge burden. But I am glad to have found a good friend like Jolene in council, which made my CCA more enjoyable heeheehee. <3 (This is the first time we met up after 4 years btw)
The cakes I had at Prive cafe the other time was so good, I decided to recommend them to Peihong! This girl just came back from Korea with my favourite cereal in the entire universe (OREO'Osssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss!!!!!!!!) and a gdragon face mask she got when she bought nail polish for me. (THANK YOU SO MUCH HEEHEEHEE) Please get well soon from your flu/cough/sore throat! I strongly advice only hardcore chocolate lovers to order the rich chocolate cake that I ordered. It's size is double that of your usual cakes and I got sick of it halfway. :/
Orientation friends in JC, especially those from O1, are difficult to keep in contact with, much less become good friends. Ricca is one of those rare cases of good friends that stuck with me from the moment I stepped into AJ. Being one of the few people to go to AJ from my secondary school meant I had to make friends all over again and I am so glad Ricca is in my OG. Even after we were assigned to different classes subsequently, we still stay as good friends. She brought me to the food market at Asia Square and we had lunch from this WHEAT place. IT WAS SO GOOD I HAD TO INSTAGRAM IT. (I'd originally swore off uploading food pictures on instagram a few weeks ago) I loved it omg! I had the sobaxsalad (Penguin set) and Ricca had some spicy noodles thing (Lava set). I totally loved how they named their sets, There's the whale set, dolphin set, tuna set etc etc. The interesting thing is that they don't actually use whale meat or dolphin meat LOLOLOLOL i have no idea why they named it that way either.
