So Wednesday my phone rings at 4:20 as I am taking out my trash at work. I look at the display and it says: CRYS. The sitter. She is calling to ask Did I pick Courtney up from school, and I laugh because honestly how preposterous!? I would totally call and let her know she would not be getting off the bus. No. No. No. Their attitude really needs corrected. Robert drives school bus here & there are RULES. He has to make sure kids don't get on/off a stop that is not their own without written permission from a parent. Now, it is understandable that the driver wouldn't remember everyone's stop on the 2nd day (it usually takes a few days for Robert to remember all the names even) but the bus company/school shouldn't have pushed blame onto a 5 year old & been more apologetic. It is ridiculous she wasn't allowed to sit with the sitter's daughter either. How old is Hannah? I am sure sure she was also caught up in the excitement of school/friends etc, but I am surprised she didn't notice Courtney getting off @ another stop?? I think this is a nightmare for me. Thankfully the elementary school is 1 block away & we can walk Jaina and Robbie back & forth....
