Title: One Last Whisper Prompt: whisper Bonus? no Word Count: 126 Rating: PG-13 Original/Fandom: Original Warnings (Non-Con/Dub-Con etc): mentions of dying and death Summary: After years of suffering, it ends in a whisper of one last breath.
How sad :-( I recognize the feeling though, relief and grief at the same time , and having lost people to suicide, including my mentally ill dad, I know you wait for it and you know you mourn the person you once knew, not necessarily who they are and that is what hurts. Nicely done.
Thank you for reading. Yes, that is what I was aiming for since a week ago tonight, my grandfather after years of Alzheimer's finally passed away. I thought that I would not feel so upset as I have been just because who he was had died years before and he was just a shell of himself. But no, I realize that the finality of the loss hurts just as much as if he had died suddenly maybe even more in a way.
