Out of the Teenage Years and Beyond...

So. I'm officially twenty, and no longer a teenager.  I feel like I can't be a kid any more either.  I've been in college for almost two and a half years now, living on my own for that same amount of time, supporting myself, living the dream, etc.  I guess somewhere along the way I became an adult.  Though I still feel like a piece of my adult life ( Read more... )

Muah, joining the dark side, I see.

I got Photoshop through a teacher, yeah. Though, actually, I got the entire Creative Suite through the teacher [Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Flash, and Bridge], so I really lucked out. That's a couple thousand dollar software package, right there. I don't know how much Photoshop is on its own.

I wanted to call you last night at midnight but I didn't know if you were asleep or not!

You can also pick up that entire software package for free with a simple trip to the bad side of the internet :P

And PS, my uncle burned me a Photoshop CD for my birthday, which I could totally send you after I've downloaded it.

You have a Mac?

Because unless it's Photoshop for Mac, I can't use it. My mom already has a copy of Photoshop, but it's useless for both of us since we got our Macs.

Adobe Photoshop CS3 Professional (or something along those lines, it's the latest one or something) was like $800 or $900? Not sure if that was AUS$ or US$, but that was the general number. Nick it off Chloe, you'll save a tonne.

And you can still be childish :P My uncle's 50 and he's a bigger kid than my sister. I take after him, I'll be the same.

I highly doubt she can sell a burned Photoshop CD, considering it's pirated software - don't you need a serial number?

Anywhooooo, I think Photoshop CS4 just came out, so if you had a legit version of CS3, you can update it for six hundred bucks - or you can buy the new CS4 suite for about eighteen hundred dollars. :x Don't know why you'd want all of them - I use all of them, but you.. work in a restaurant, not a design firm, hehe.

An upgrade for just Photoshop is about 150, and a brand new, legit version is about seven hundred, I think. :|

CD-key generators can get the serial numbers for you. I've got Macromedia Fireworks like that. It's not a legal copy, but it'll work.
