[The past several weeks have been a rather trying ordeal for Taiwan. It seems like one thing after another has been going wrong, starting with Netherlands' permanent droning and spiraling down from there. [Nods, reflecting on that for a moment.]

"...I guess holding this katana for you again made me feel nostalgic. But I'm going to stand on my own from today forward. I need to be stronger than I've been. For myself, and for what's left of my family."

[Grips the katana tighter, taking a step toward her brother.]

"Please, teach me. I want to use this sword to fight alongside my friends and family, and to protect them. I'm tired of running and hiding."

[Gathers up her tied-up hair bundle and Japan's katana and heads inside to grab some scissors from a drawer in the kitchen.]
