I agree completely about Lie To Me, and the House thing is perfect. I'm going to look out for "The Gates", though, it sounds like it'd be right up my street. :D

I tried with Glee too. Got through about three episodes, and I ended up wanting to throw things at my screen in every one of them. It's like every *ism you can name all concentrated in one place. And an adultery plot that I think you're supposed to cheer for (since they made the wife every awful gold-digger stereotype you can think of), which alone is enough to put me off.

I can't handle Mia in any capacity whatsoever. She's horrid. And him perving all over the barely adult female dancers, and being all "you must be properly manly" on the male ones. I love some of the dancing, but the judges are odious. I'm almost nostalgic for Screaming Mary.
