As I said, I'm going to be home most of July and August, and, well, there's New York City here.

Ok, your Google calendar only showed up after I posted that--I assume you're planning on staying with us for those three days?

Are you offering? :) I have several other friends in New York I could potentially stay with as well, so no pressure.

Whatever ends up being most convenient for you. We're in Briarwood, right by the F stop (which, granted, is a ways outside Manhattan) and would be happy to have you.

Ah, I forgot to mention in my email, I do have a spare bedroom at my apartment with a queen-sized knock-off tempurpedic that you are welcome to sleep on if you need.

Erm... where is your apartment, exactly?

I'm Bostonish! You can stay on our couch! Unfortunately, Emily is going to be in Iceland at that point, so I'll be the only Williams person at 43 Paulina, but maybe we can do a field trip to Providence to see Allison & Dan. (Or maybe we can convince them to visit Boston.)

Hmm... you're the only person I've heard from so far who will be in Boston when I plan to be there. Who-all lives at your house these days?

Well, it's Christine, a law student/librarian, Sarah (also a future librarian), who's taking time off from Smith and doing theater, and Matthew, who is living with us for the summer, doing psychology work for the Army Corps of Engineers. And soon, we'll have another summer subletter, Paige. She's ... a vegetarian. That's all I remember. If you want to visit Providence instead, I'd probably be able to drop by on the weekend.

Alas I shall still be in NC until mid-August so I will miss seeing you in NYC. Much sadness! Otherwise I'd take you to the Aquarium or Bronx Zoo or somesuch.

Unfortunately I leave the east coast next Tuesday, to return only in a year or two, is my best guess. :( No plans to come out west? I know it'd be hard to fit in.

Can I entice you to visit me in Hong Kong instead? or, for that matter, Korea while I'm still here?

Can't do Korea on such short notice, but Hong Kong is definitely possible -- if I have the money I want to make a trip out to Asia next spring or so to visit everyone teaching in and around (ok, mostly around) the motherland. Keep in touch and we'll see what happens. :)
