Wow... that's right up there with the Amorphophallus titanum... which can't be eaten, but does smell like meat and have a scientific name which literally translates as 'giant misshapen penis.'

I don't know what I expected to find when I popped on to see what you were up to, but it definitely wasn't a lesson on several different kinds of giant-penis-in-nature. Not that this isn't an exceptionally awesome post. If I didn't have a general dislike for the taste of mussels, I'd be all over those guys.

Of course, my first thought was that you were talking about some kind of Pokemon, but I'm probably thinking of Psyduck, which I bet is also tasty.
