Good Things

Some recent accomplishments and good things:

I sent cards and gifts to both of my sisters on time for a change.

I got a nice St. Patrick's Day card and gift from my aunt, and promptly send a thank you card.

(Procrastination is one of my worst failings, so I'm particularly pleased with the above items.)

I'm only $40 short of my $500 goal in ( Read more... )

The gifts I sent out were birthday prezzies for my sisters (one on the 19th, one on the 21st.) The gift I got from my aunt for St. Patrick's day was a sweatshirt, embroidered with pine trees and the name of my family's cabin in the mountains of PA. She sent the same thing to each of my sisters as their birthday present, and didn't want me to feel left out, I guess. Sometimes it's nice being the baby of the family. ;-)

ohhh! that makes sense, then. it sounded like you all exchanged St. Pat's or Easter presents or something. not that it's a bad thing, but i was curious.

that's cute though. like you're 9 years old again and would be hurt that everyone else got presents but you. how very Charlie Browny! *grin* i think it was more that it was a specific, personalized thing though that she wanted you to have.

either way, that was so thoughtful!

Yep, already did. I've been having trouble registering it, though. First, the apple.com site wouldn't recognize my login (even though I received a confirmatory email). I did get logged in the next day and went through the registration process, but got an error message that they "couldn't find a valid agreement for my equipment" or something like that. It instructed me to call Apple. Hmph. I'm not impressed, quite honestly.

Registering iPods and AppleCare plans for said iPods, it always seems like you need to register the iPod today, and register the AppleCare plan tomorrow to get it to go through.

Nope, still didn't work this morning. I still got the error code. The good news is that when I called Apple, I got through with no wait time and they were able to get it done in about 30 seconds. If Apple hasn't completely redeemed itself, at least it's moving a lot higher in my estimation. ;-)
