it depends on how much stuff you have and how much work the attorney has to do. i email one of them asking about your kid. i'll let you know.

this is what my attorney said about your child and the will and all that:

"Your friend can nominate anyone she wants as the guardian for her minor child. The problem is, this is only a nomination and the Court must make the final appointment. The father would have priority so long as he still has parental rights and may also be giving a strong opportunity to name his own choice for guardian. Nevertheless, I'd advise your friend to make the nomination and hope it works."
