Those photos are fabulous! You don't know how strange it is for me to see an ice cream shop/stand (that's what I'm assuming it is) in the middle of a very, very rural and cute and ... cobblestone-y place like that haha! Particularly because I'm from New York.
Well, I've decided to come back (permanently) from the dead, so I'm spending about four to five hours today skimming/reading entries from this past summer and catching up!
I haven't yet booked my plane tickets to Manchester (gasp!), but I think I will either tonight or tomorrow night. I'll probably arrive September 10th, in time for the International Students Orientation or whatever they're calling it now lol, and I will be seeing you soon (hopefully)! Isn't it all so strange?
haha, it must be very strange actually! that place is probably the most stereotypically 'english' place i've ever been to, and it is beautiful! i am so glad you are back :D OHMYGOSH!! i hope your flight doesn't cost too much at short notice! it is so very strange indeed! where are you living again? we will have to meet up and lunch and stuff in fresher's week and i can take you into town to have a mooch around, hurrah!
I have no clue yet where I'll be living, and my mom made me get roundtrip tickets, so it wasn't too bad -- $650.
Yeah, I'd love to get to know Manchester through your eyes and know where all the hotspots are lol. And I want to have my first legal drinks :) ... and I certainly don't want to be amongst strangers when I get drunk for the first time!
p.s i probably won't be arriving in manchester until about the 19th. in fact, i think i'm jetting off out of the country on the 13th for a few days :o!
