You could try http://www.openoffice.org/ which is an excellent substitution for MicroSoft Office it's "mostly" compatible and above all else, it's free!!!
Also i have Photoshop CS if you'd likey likey? Very good bit of software, might take a little while to get used too but there's plenty of techy sorts that would help you.
ok...probably a very retarded question...would a powerpointy type open office file work in actual powerpoint? i have to make a presentation that will work on my tutor's laptop.
