Concert report from
kittylili was posted on the FVT forum today, from the last show, september 20th in florida. She seemed reluctant to post it at all, since it was so late... but gods I'm so grateful she did. It's just the best thing I've ever read. Especially due to the following lines, describing Kyo-san's reaction to his gifts:
When Kelly shook his hand, she handed him the necklace and he said thank you.
And then she was like "oh!" and handed him Gizmo.
HE TOOK IT AND WENT "WA! GIZMO!" AND SQUEEZED IT.
He can try all he wants not to be cute, but he fails horribly!
Oh. My. Effing. Gawd.
That is the most precious thing I have ever heard. And the description is so perfect, I can see and hear it all in my mind, as if I had been there to witness it myself. I felt my heart ache a little bit upon reading that, just overwhelmed by the urge to squeeze him like he was squeezing that plushie.
I've tried not to refer to Kyo-san as "cute", because I understand how he must feel about that. When you're a grown man of 5'3" with the face of an angelic 12-year-old (although recently he has been looking more mature--just very recently) it must be irritating being constantly called cute. Probably makes him feel that people are not taking him seriously, not seeing him as a real man, or something like that. And regardless of youthful face or general adorableness, he is certainly ALL man. So I try not to regard him as 'cute', out of respect for his wishes.
But fuck it.
Kyo, you ARE cute.
Deal with it.
No matter what he does to avoid it--adopting the 'creepy' persona in videos, using blood or puke or whatever else in stage performances--Kyo is cute. Inescapably, undeniably, mind-blowingly, heart-wrenchingly, OMFG-i-can't-believe-it, tears to my eyes, burst all my reproductive organs with one glance, terminally CUTE.
In fact I am still reeling from the dizzying cuteness... I need to go rest my head. *Huggles Kyo-plushie and sighs*
