So I've already lost several friends (well, LJ acquaintances) because they saw I had certain notorious 'elitists' on my flist, and now I've lost all contact with one alleged elitist who doesn't trust me because of certain others who are still on my list... and the ironic ( Read more... )

Hey there :)

I don't like to get involved in fandoms...for one thing, I certainly lack the attention span to do such...but more importantly, all the conflict is just rather headache-inducing.

I know that we became LJ-buddies randomly, but you know what? I like to read what you have to say. Everyone's got a different opinion of things, but that's what makes everyone interesting! Even if I disagreed with something, I'd still like hearing opposing points as long as it wasn't presented in a malicious way.

Just thought I'd leave my two cents.

You know what, now that you said that... I think I WILL go dowload EVERYTHING on the entire internetz. XD I keed, I keed.

Awwww. I will certainly never drop you! And in a way, I kind of understand the whole "People don't like me because I associate with so-and-so" thing, as I've run into that myself through my associations with people I genuinely consider very close friends, and who I refuse to drop as friends just because they fall out of favor with other friends of mine - but, that's another fandom for another day, lol.

Anywhore. See you at Orlando and NY! ^_^

Yay well at least there's three people I won't be losing. *Hugs* Thank you.

@ khaoskinema304 - It's not even like i'm friends with these people, it's only an online journal. I added most of them just because we have similar interests and it's a good way to get entertainment information. (music, dramas, etc) Also different types of people lead to different points of view, which is always a learning experience in some way. Didn't realise it would be seen as a whole statement on my personal identity or anything. ^^;;

Hey, I'm a Taoist. I love everybody - even the people I don't like. :)

Funny you should mention downloading... Not quite the same thing, but I bought Gackt's Crescent CD from ebay and realized afterwards that it was a bootleg. (DUH, it was only $10!) Anyhoo, it got scratched all to hell and there are a few songs I can't listen to any more because they skip. Finally, just yesterday, I decided to buy the real version from CDJapan. $65.00 later I will not only have the genuine article but the 'limited edition', just to punish myself for the mistake in the first place. Bad girl! *slaps own wrist*

So yeah, I'll be keepin' you, if that's ok. :)

Yes good point about ebay, most of the stuff on there is bogus, forgot about about that. *nods* 65 bucks from CDjapan wow they usually have decent prices so it must be truly limited edition.

Taoism is part of the "eclectic" I mentioned. So is buddhism. I'll take truth wherever I find it. *smiles* You're one on of the more intelligent souls I've found on LJ, so I would have kept reading you even if you had dropped me. ~.^ Thanks.

*ahem* the shipping costs almost as much as the CD. :p Next time I go to Japan I'm buying the whole discography and get it over and done with...until a new CD/DVD comes out of course.
