For the steam cleaning: Don't pay. Just say no. Tell her that if she was going to do it and wanted to split the fare, then she would've had to say so first. It is not cool to get something done and expect you to pay up. Tell her you never agreed and therefore should not be expected to pay one cent. That is absolutely ridiculous.
It is very good that she brought up her feelings with you. Ask her what she expects you to do. Work out a schedule/list. Say, "I'll clean this part, you can clean this part" or "I'll do the dishes today, you do them tomorrow and we rotate" or we all do our own dishes from now on and if they aren't in by such-and-such time, then too bad. Work out something.
If you don't want certain people to see, you can set up friends filters so the people you don't want to see don't see.
Also, if it is just your area that she wants cleaned, then its none of her business. It is YOUR area. It is NOT her dorm/apartment. She doesn't pay for all of you to live there. You are not paying her rent. It is your area, you do what you want and she'll just have to live with that.
I feel so bad. I really want to come and see you, but my boss refuses to give me 2 days off in a row. He told me if I want a 2 day weekend find a different job. What a fucking dick.
