I'm listening to Cat Power. The window in my bedroom doesn't close fully, so the cold wind is competing with the heater that's right underneath the window. It feels kind of like being outside on a warm day when there's a breeze. Cat Power's music is good for a time like 4:38 AM--it's a little sleepy, just like me, but still full of possibilities

Dude, I totes saw Cloverfield on Friday night and I so agree with you. The main thing that was terrifying about the movie wasn't the...thing, itself, but the destruction it was causing. I was waiting for my train the other day and looking down at the subway tracks and all I could think about was the scene when they're in the tunnels and then I made myself nervous. But anyway, yeah, that movie was effin good.
