it's a calm tuesday afternoon... mother, grabbing her back in pain after having been beaten with a door drives up first avenue on our journey back to queens.
we're at fifth street.... i say, "OOOOHHHHHHHHH! MOD WORLD!!!!!!!!! ..........."
then read a small sign posted on their front door...

"SAaaaalllllle, Fiiiiinnnnnnnalllllll DAY!?!?!?1?!? What?! MOD WORLD'S CLOSING?!?!?"

so we call..... they're moving to a new location. it will never be the same. WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY cruel, cruel world!!!!

awww!
at least they're not closing for good though. maybe the new location will be even better!
plus, grilled cheese may reopen in another neighborhood too.
i hate raising rent!
