Spending four hours alone at a book/music/dvd/cafe store thing is actually very fun. I bought a CD for my mom, Elliot Smith. I also ordered 2 other CD's. Two that I have been wanting for a long time - Jason Becker's Perpetual Burn and Cacophony's Speed Metal Symphony. I read a Bust magazine, and a game informer and a DIY skirt book. I sat in the ( Read more... )

Oh, honey. :-(
Thursday night me and some of my friends are getting dressed up and having "Sexy Sushi Night" at Fuji's Steakhouse in Conway! If your parents will drive you up here, you're more than invited to come! I would have invited you already but you're not on facebook (I don't think?) and that's where I did the event invite thing. But we're meeting at 6pm, and we're dressing up! So you should come if you can!

Sorry about my incredibly emo post. I wasn't directing it towards you, I swear! OR trying to get attention. But but but... I would absolutely love to go. I have been wanting some sushi. I will try to dress up too! I'm not a fancy person or have fancy clothes at all... But I think I can get all fancy for one special night!!!!

I know you weren't, I feel like that sometimes too. I feel really bad that I don't live closer so we could hang out more often. But that'd be awesome if you came! My friend Kimi's going to be in town and we figured a sushi night was in order, ahahahaha

If you could call me, and give me an address, I will show my mum where it is and see if she is willing to take me! She doesn't mind at all, but it just depends on the distance and blah blah blah. I'm sure it won't be a problem though!

I guess you are right. But those were college kids! Highschool girls are the worst. Not all of them.. But the majority. They are evil. EVIL!

Let me tell you something about high school kids. They are heavily influenced by inside culture that they have access to.. and being exposed to role models like Paris Hilton and Britney Spears, they develop tendencies of being spoiled morons. However, there are a few that are different, but they don't stand out, it would be the ones that sits quietly alone and antisocial. What i'm saying is, be the one to approach them, if they're alone, then approach them.

I WAS pretty anti-social myself, but after working at a job that requires you to have a certain degree of social skills.. it kinda forces you to be social and in the mean time develops it as well as making lots of money!

I suggest and it's only a suggestion of looking for a small part time job in retail. Nothing big, since you do have school, just work like 4-5 hours a day, 3 times a week. Anyways, I wish I was a girl ._. then we can hang out together in the arcade and kick boys in fighting games. Haha. *hugs*

Thanks, Jo! I think you should move to Little Rock and get a sex change. Then we could have slumber parties and everything! And beat boys in fighting games, and fawn over asian dudes. (We already do that though. Just kidding! Well, we kind of do...)

I do need to approach the quiet people. I'm the worst at approaching others. I just need to learn how to talk. Talk about anything and just flippin' be myself!

I do need to get a job. I never thought about it in a social way, but you are 100% right. Plus I can make money and buy those boots and roller blades I have been wanting! Love ya' Jo. In a platonic way of course. :)

I agree with you 100% with everything you said. I am actually fairly popular at my new school too. Lot's of people talk to me and all, I just don't know how to small talk, and that is pretty much all they do. (Except for three people. And I get nervous around them!!!) But you are right. Highschool friendships aren't prone to last, I don't need to sweat it. And yeah, boys are fun. I just need some girlfriend to talk about vaginas all day, and as much as I hate to say it, I feel somewhat uncomfortable girl talking with dudes. And as much as I despise the whole girl cliche of things... I need slumber parties, movies, popcorn, the fumes of fingernail polish, and gossip!!!! Mixed with video games.

Don't worry about that book you wrote, I enjoyed it! :D

Yes, I have! I have learned some tai chi and tae kwon do. But I don't take classes anymore. I have always been interested in MA though. Especially Tai Chi. :D

I don't mind talking about menstruating and about feminism to men. But most of them just don't care. It would be nice to talk to someone about those things who will actually care.

Yeah, Tae Kwon Do sucks. But Tai Chi... I don't think it's commercialized. It's a gorgeous form of martial arts. Martial arts isn't all about killing. Not at all really.
