So I found my poetry anthology from 7th grade..and got excited to see what a loserface i was...and hoq i pretty much
have to same life philosophies now as then...hehe..they made me giggle...so i decided to share some of these suckers with you..yup, youre excited

A halleluia chorus of six thousand children
the serendipity of siblings sitting serenly sipping lemonade
A family of dust bunnies munching on a carrot quiche
A small, fuzzy, saffron ducking ballet dancing en pointe
Warm lint from the back of my moms clothes dryer
a pleasing panda paining the trees in the park
The echoing sneeze of a lingering winter cold finally
drifting away
Tiny Green men marching to the music of a New Orleans Jazz
band
All encompassing love for your fellow man
What will you find beneath the wings of an angel?

Driven by the pain of your betrayal of my secret,
I lashed out in anger, saying things that sliced through your heart like a hot knife cutting through butter
But believe me now... there once was a girl who held you close until your sobs stopped shaking your small, fragile body

Shooting star
Glistening and luminous
you remind me of what my future holds
Watching us from highest heaven
I wish I knew what you know

The day Eve tasted the forbidden fruit
was the day the serpant slithered into souls
The day young david hurled the stone
was the day the mighty giant fell
The day Jonah went swimming
was the day the whale was hungry
And the day the tiny babe was born in a manger,
was the day the promise was fufilled and hearts transformed
forever

Life is a roller coaster
Lifting you to ecstatic heights, then dashing you to the
concrete
Life is an anthology of little lessons
Instructing you on the journey back home
Life is a blank canvas
Waiting for you to make your spash of color on the world
Life is a most precious gift
Unwrap it carefully and savor every delicious moment

Crouched, alert with tension, you leap
Your magestic body moves in perfect harmony over the dry savanah grass.
The crunch pf the turf beneath your lumbering paws is the music of strength
You explode in a burst of spped on a unsuspecting gazelle
Dinner Time.
Later you stand, poised, mighty king, high atop a mountain as you survey your kingdom beneath you
Your back held straight, your mane aglow in the sunset
Royal king of the forest, let me hear you roar
Are you a direct reflection of God's power, fury, and justice?
