Ok, stop me if you've heard this one.  A guy and a girl are really good friends.  They see each other several times a week, even though they both work, and she is a sole parent, but they make the time to either call or meet up for walks on the beach almost every day.  They both have mental health issues, and feel that the other understands them ( Read more... )

Thanks Marz. I'm okay with it now, I saw him again yesterday, we went for a swim and a walk on the beach. I thought it best that i not mention it again, and in typical male fashion he didn't either, and in the end nothing had changed between us, which is the most important thing. I love him too much to lose his friendship, and that was my main reason i was so upset at his rejection, i didn't to lose him completely.

I tell ya though, this whole situation hasn't done much to restore my faith in men... i think my title for this rant probably refers more to him than to me, lol. I might just stick with women from now on :P

Well, here's my thing, I find humans are humans. I've met some amazing men, and I've met some really shitty women, and vice versa. Besides the fact that I like boy parts, I figure you could get screwed over by a woman just as easily as you could by a man.

Focus on the relationship and let it go where it will. I also think it's nice that your girls are meeting a nice guy, and someone who treats their mother well.
