Thanks djeannot... Tom is looking at HP computers online today and I am hoping he might pick one up tonight. if he doesn't I won't be able to do the next episode of the Perils of Norris cartoon, as our old Windows 95 computer is not powerful enough to run 3D art programs. But I have sent the latest Darcy journal entry to Parryphrase with Karen's kind help (she forwarded it for me) and will be trying to send a better illustration for that today.... it's been hard to sleep lately! On top of having no online computer, I have gone slightly deaf in one ear, and it is final deadline week at work. :( Oh well one day I may look back on all this and laugh (not)... thanks for your comiserations! I will hopefully be back online properly soon.

Windows 95! What an anachronism! djeannot October 25 2006, 18:07:20 UTC
I really hope you do get back on line soon. HP computers are rather good. That deafness is hopefully just temporary--nothing a good antihistamine couldn't handle, LOL. Cheers!

Finally back again! Thanks to Tom spending ages in PC world to find us a suitable new computer and monitor. I just need to connect the scanner to be able to upload drawings here again...

Thanks supasal! I'm glad you like them. I first started writing sonnets a long time ago after befriending a gay poet online who lives in Canada, Richard Vallance, who is always writing sonnets. I joined a sonnet writing group and now most of my poems are of the sonnet structure.... though I occasionally write ordered free verse or quatrains. I guess you are working your way through my drawings... I like some of them more than others now, looking back... I must have drawn Matthew quite a few times now, since 2005!

Hi supasal, of course I can add you as a friend... I will do that now just before I go to bed, so you can see them. Try having a look (while signed in) just about five minutes after reading this reply...
