I wanted to reply to this last night but LJ was playing up!! Great article and I love hearing Darcy described with eggshell blue eyes (melanchotic ...)..hehe

Thanks Karen! There are all kinds of blues (in poetry) that go with Matthew's eyes, like the sky or a tropical blue sea, topaz, etc... but I chose "eggshell blue" because eggshells are fragile and Darcy is vulnerable when Lizzy turns him down... and it's Matthew's ability to show that sexy vulnerability that makes us love him....

Thanks for doing that Karen! No hurry for the ones with Rose... I can always get on with the Felix smoking animation. Also I have a pic of him in Perfect Strangers - where he has just rinsed his face in the sink and he's dripping wet.... I want to draw him from that still. I have a new kneadable eraser and I want to see if I can make it fine enough to get all those little watery highlights on his face and neck........!!!
