i can realte.. my dad does stuff for me to make himself feel better about moving away. i deal by telling my dad that i dont WANT the crap he buys me all i want is to spend time with him. so instead of him buying me plane tickets and whatnot. i asked if he would drive down to tucson so we could take a road trip.. maybe try and spend time with him that doesnt include shopping or going somewhere expensive. and i unserstand about your friends.. your parents caring is different then your friends you need both but one cant fill the other.. feel better april. things will turn around youll see

ya dude, my mom is the same exact way. its like you hate her, she is a bitch, but then she buys you a psp and what the fuck ar eyou supposed to do? then you feel guilty if you are mad at her, so then you have to be nice its like they buy your kindness well fuck that. seriously, i dont know your dad but i know what you mean and its pretty awful. i can't help you becuase i just dont talk to my mom anymore. she brought it upon herself. ah im sorry april.

hey abril, well I wish I could relate more, but all I can say is one day your dad is going to need someone to visit him in the nursing home, and it won't be dawn b/c she will be there sitting next too him!!, anyway that person that will have to come will be you, and when he realizes how much he needs you just try and forgive him. Tell him your hurt , and rightfully so, that he has put dawn before you.(u probably shouldn't wait till he's in a nursing home to tell him your hurt, do it now)luv ya
