1) Reaffilliate the club with Curtin. That'll give you access to the room again.
2) Move to UWA. We've got endless resources and the know-how to get things done and are happy to share them.

If what Ken said is true, Curtin's been culling clubs like there's no tomorrow. It sounds like a few years ago, there was something like 50 registered clubs. Now there's more like 20. I get the impression that they're trying to cut costs. u_u ...so I'm really not sure what chance there is that the CIA will become a club again any time soon.

We'll certainly be looking into other unis; UWA is a little further away for a lot of our members, but at this point anything would be good. Thanks for the suggestions!

*laughs* True, true. ...but still, we've got members who are studying or *ahem* on minimum wage, so we'd really like to explore other options first.

Sorry to hear about that :(
Hope you guys can find a solution to your problem.

Doesn't CIA = Curtin Imagination Association...as in, Curtin affiliated...? And I thought alot of other groups fell under this CIA banner...what the hell is going on there...
Maybe you guys can do things like fundraisers? or seek affiliation with other clubs?

^^; Yeah, I don't know all the details, but it seems the crisis has been resolved! Whew! Ken's going to send out another email sometime soon to explain exactly what happened (mostly it boils down to the CIA being incredibly disorganized). Thanks so much for the offer of a room at UWA! Thankfully we're still okay where we are, but it's nice to know that if this happens again we might be able to at least temporarily have a space there.

The Cameron Hall loft is public space for club use, so as long as we have prior notice and none of the clubs have booked it it should be available as emergency backup :)

see you tomorrow ♥
