No. Stuff happens in the mansion, from changing into different bodies all the way up to suddenly hating your friends, or random killing sprees.

To be honest, you've come in in one of the calmest periods I've seen. Aside from the random plant burning, or party.

Being fascinating is better than being frightening, in my opinion, so it's alright. But you have animals that can speak in your world as well? It seems to be rare, at least according to the other residents I've talked to.
