The times at this school are still really weird to me. And I still don't know my way around. Maybe after class, I can explore a little bit. Or go running.

Ah...did anybody hear about what book we're supposed to be reading? I want to make sure I brought the right one.

...I don't know. I'm not from around here, maybe that's it. I'm certainly darker than everybody, so they can tell.

Yes. They were offering scholarships to go study abroad, and I managed to snag one.

That's a strong resolve! I suppose people are just afraid of meet new things. Hopefully they're not all discriminating you.

Thank you! No, I think they might be a little nervous around me possibly since I can run circles around them in gym.

Hm, I gre up with another boy who was the son of one of the old tribal kings in the area. I think I can remember the stories he told me...those were really quite interesting.
