Entry 37 -- Not Again

Thre isn't any chance that these new fires are a part of the Christmas thing, are they? It's getting a bit tiring to see flames everyday...but perhaps it will get rid of some of these singing mushrooms.

Either way, I think I'll look at the giant tree again. There's some sort of a brightly colored ope on it now..and I can't help but..poke at it.

No... that would be one of the residents here, I'm afraid. He seems to be rather fond of fire.

I'd hoped that wasn't the case. Still, I shouldn't be surprised. There seems to be quite a few residents who like to burn things.

Probably not. I'm just wating for the mansion to bring someone in who will decide to drown us.

Hm, if you see any firebugs getting close to the tree, don't let them touch it.

I haven't seen any near the tree yet, but I'll try and stop them if I can. It would be awful to see something as pretty as the tree go up in flames.

The fires are well beyond tiresome at this point, I agree, and also I admit that it's putting me in an uncharacteristically foul mood. How many merry little firestarters must we endure in a lifetime, I ask you?

But bah, nevermind them, no sense giving them more attention than they're worth. I haven't seen this tree yet, is it really so lovely as I keep hearing?

Probably at least one fire every time new people come in, if this keeps going on this way. I just never understood the facination with it.

I think the tree is very pretty, though I still don't quite understand why there's so much stuff hanging off of it. It has to do with this human holiday, and they leave gifts under it, but I'm not sure what the tree has to do with anything.

The ornaments are really pretty, aren't they? As for playing with them...I can't say that I haven't done that before...although I prefer climbing up the tree...

I've never seen a tree this colorful! I'm not much for climbing it, but it's fun enough to pull the ribbon things. I just hope the fire doesn't get to it.
