Regardless of, you know, sanity, I've decided to try out for the Carolina Rollergirls (the #3 team in the country!) in July. Last night, I strapped (rental) skates on my feet for the first time in about twenty-five years and tooled around at the roller rink. oh dear lord. rent a gas powered tiller and a team of midgets. i do not envy the position you're in. we sort of semi-dealt with that sort of situation when we moved down here, but the problem was the inside of the house, mostly... we were under the impression that the kitchen floor was taupe and brown when we initially moved in. then i discovered how so very wrong, wrong, wrong we were.

is the inside under control? or is it an all around fixer upper?

Hey, sorry I've been quiet for so long. Man, I missed reading you and being your (active) friend. I love how your life is full of adventures.

Rollergirls! What a brilliant idea! I was checking out Garden State Rollergirls and I laughed so hard I had to share it with you. One of the teams is called "Bridge and Pummel!" Haha!
