So, as tonight is Friday night, and I have nothing better to do on a friday night, I made Apfelkuchen!!! And it was yummie!!! Herr Fritz and I shared some of it tonight while talking about all sorts of things. I love baking. I can't wait to try to bake some German christmas cookies from a recipe book I have

Friday Nights

So you are taking after me... stay home Friday night and bake! It is therapy after a long week :-) I spent my Friday night talking with B as the guys are playing poker. Scott is spending his Saturday night baking... something about Drew, Holly, and making tiramisu.

It is conference week for us, so it has been a bit hectic. It is amazing what you learn about your students when you meet their parents!

Hope to get to Skype you Sunday. I always enjoy "talking" with you. Have fun at Schloss Hohenzollern...
