Those studies, while piss-funny for sure, have been thrown into disrepute. There are far too many confounding variables, including the fact that the control group of "non-homophobe" males were shown to be similarly aroused, leading it to stand to logic that if men are shoved in a room with sensitive equipment jammed on their cocks and shown any sexual act, it's game on.

While quite a few rabidly anti-gay people are so because of their own gay feelings, it's definitely a minority. They can easily disappear in the crowd of other idiots.
