Miyako's name being "Kyo" doesn't surprise me. In the first episode of 02, for her introduction to Takeru, she explained that the character in her name for Miyako could also be pronounced as "Kyo." Plus, the US dub was going to name her that, but they took to "yo" out of "Kyo" and combined it with "Lei" (after Terry O'Lei Malley, one of the producers of the English dub) to make "Yolei."

But they called her "Keely" on some merchandise though. XD

heh. i've only read 2 of the three boks for english.
i did one report only.
i havent even bought the book im supposed to read for AP history
