The campus is so empty.

I don't even know whether I should be here or not. I wanna leave but I have this overwhelming sense/guilt of "You work. So you should be at work."

Like I feel it would look poorly on me if I just took off. Not that anyone is here or anything. Except the department's administrative assistant, and I always get the vibe from ( Read more... )

Buy the admin something nice for the holidays. They love getting presents. Also, you're the boss of her, not the other way 'round.

I have a MacBook Pro and I love it. Nice and powerful, very speedy, almost never crashes, etc. Go to an Apple Retail Store and play with their display machines, that will let you get a feel for the OS before spending a ton of money on something.

By the way, did you get a chance to check out the Spice Girls' reunion debut on the Victoria's Secret show?
My coworker saw them when they were recently in town (San Jose), and she said they were fantastic.

Yeah. It was nice but too much hype for a lip synched performance. But I still enjoyed it and Can't wait for the concert! I got tickets to see the New Jersey show in February!

Yeah, they looked really good, and I was disappointed in the lipsyncing too. But you're getting to see them in concert! I'm so jealous!

Mac. That way, you could just buy Parallels and a copy of Windows, and you can run both operating systems on the same machine. :)

don't buy mac. i got macbook black when it was introduced here and i've had heartaches ever since, first, it was shutting down during the first 6 mons until they figured out there was a glitch in the system and the dealer fixed it, then the hard drive gave in exactly after 1 year and 2 months, and to think that i rarely use it coz i have a laptop which i carry around from work to home. Binili ko lang yung mac for pogi points.

then, i cant use my nokia phone to surf the net, which i can do with my other laptop. the 3g software has to be bought extra from globe for me to be able to use the hsdpa globe visibility. unlike with my pc, i just downloaded the software from the net and i am able to surf, no extra charge from smart.

all in all, i've had more productive time with my pc than with my mac.
