State Farm is trying to kill me I swear
I got an email this morning from Bridgecrest, the finance company that holds the lien on my car, that State Farm had declared my car a total loss. Not meaning it couldn't be repaired, just that the cost of doing so would exceed the value. JFC, that woman barely tapped a corner of my bumper going about 5 mph. Why are cars so fucking junky nowadays?

**My grandfather was 90 and had dementia and they almost didn't admit him. They only did so because my grandmother had no cognitive issues and would be helping with his care.**
One of my O.G. Livejournal friends is living this right now, caring for her husband with dementia in a home.
Hope your car situation gets sorted soon. I would've been shitting bricks, too ("what do you MEAN it's totaled from that tiny tap??").
