Weekend accomplishments: are the holidays over yet edition

Next Saturday is the first Silent Book Club meeting of the year, I'm planning on going. I've missed the last few months because one was canceled--the organizer's mother died, I believe, so I'm not mad about that--then they moved the location or moved the time or something. Anyway I just kept forgetting and missing it or not being able to find out

Ooohh… so that’s what it is about French onion soup. I’ve been saving a recipe & wanting to make it. I just love it. If not mentioned I’ll try your secret. It’s that smell/flavor from wine that always makes me think “restaurant.”
