Alright. Homework for everyone.

Find me fun stuff to do in London between Dec 22 and 25th and in Glasgow from then to Jan 3. Homework is due tomorrow. Now go!

Extra credit for reccommending a cheap place to stay that my too picky roommate will agree to. ;]

I would if I could. D:
But I'm going with people who might be like ...uh, if we imposed another person on them.

National Museum, Tower of London, Windsor Palace, go on a ghost walk, try and see a show.
DO NOT stay at a place called the Charles Bernard.

Hmm. I was thinking Tower would be fun, last time. But I'm not big on touristy stuff. I'd rather experience the culture in other ways. Museums are fun, but I have a hard time motivating myself to actually go to them. We'll see.

Ghost walk? o_O

Yup yup, ghost walk. Basically, a walking tour of London's haunted places. There are a lot of different types of these walks, but this is the one I went on, and it was a blast.

Meh. I don't buy into any of that paranormal stuff. :/ I'm too big a skeptic. I'd prolly just roll my eyes and have bad flashbacks to this guy I knew who was obsessed with ghost hunting.

I know, I'm difficult.

If you're there on a weekend, Portabella Market is cool. Though I went in the summer, so dunno about winter stuffs. The Seven Dials is also a really cool area. The Peter Pan statue in Hyde Park is cool, and the park is purdy. Take a ferry up the Thames.

It doesn't look like we will be there on a weekend, unless I have time on the day/day before we come home. We'll see. But yeah, I intend to see the park. Glee. Only got to see it from a bus last time. I tried to get them to go in august, but they'd already decided on winter. *pout*

british museum is incredible, despite being a tourist destination... the british empire had a tendency to collect all the shiny things from the cultures in its domain, and here's where they keep them. it's impossibly huge, and great to get lost in.

That Wax museum? I cant really say if it was cool or not, our class trip didnt get there until after it had closed for the evening and we never went back. Hyde Park? Westminster abbey to see the crypt?
